HISTORY OF THE EBONY SISTAZ

The Ebony Sistaz Motorcycle Club was founded in August, 2006 by Ms. Evonna Provost. The Club is one of the first female biker clubs in Lafayette.The Club consists of bike riders and non riders.
The Ebony Sistaz has expanded over the years in becoming community oriented.The Club has adopted SMILE Community Action Agency’s Homeless Shelters where they provide gifts for all holidays. The Ebony Sistaz also recognizes Grandparents Day by visiting Amelia Manor Nursing Home to spend time and play games with the elderly. The Club hosts the Annual Biker’s Ball which is the gala of the year. The Ebony Sistaz implements several fundraising activities during the month of October where a large portion of the proceeds are given to the Miles Perret Cancer Services of Acadiana.During the month of October the Club also recognizes Breast Cancer Awareness and honor cancer survivors. The Sistaz wishes to acknowledge their “Lil Ebony Angle” Dariyone’ Johnson who has Eye Cancer and has gone through several extensive surgeries and has recovered very well. The Ebony Sistaz would like to thank everyone for all of your support.Looking forward to seeing you at our annual gala next year.
